I started designing jewelry 20 years ago as a creative release when I was working in accounting. I saw a necklace in Nordstrom one day that I wanted, but couldn't afford. I looked at it. I studied it. I thought I could make something like that. I went to a wonderful bead store in Palo Alto, California, and they were wonderful enough to teach me a couple of basic wire wrap techniques. I was hooked. Slowly friends started to purchase them from me. I was thrilled. I gave it up for a few years when I got married to become a finish our home remodel. After my kids were born, I started to make jewelry during their nap time and after they went to bed. I sold my jewelry through various art galleries in Carmel, Lahaina, and Pleasanton. I started to do imprints in clay of children't hands and feet in my garage. I quickly realized how inspirational I find my kids to be. Over the years, I have sold personalized "Mommy" jewelry made by others as well as myself.
Pure Family Jewelry is the culmination of all that I have learned up to this point. It is fun for me to make and I create each piece with love.
Why "Family Jewelry"? Well, I guess I like to be a bit different. I know how much pride fathers have in their children, too. I also know that our animals are very much a part of our family and we want the best for them. I promise to continue to push the envelope with new styles that are of impeccable, handmade craftsmanship.

We want you to love your custom jewelry. Each piece is handcrafted upon receipt of payment. Once an item has been made, there can be no cancellation or refund. Please remember, each piece is hand-stamped by an artisan in Northern California. These are not stamped by a machine. Imperfections add to the charm and help you remember that each is made for you with love. Quirky lines and slightly uneven blackening are a normal part of this process and are in no way considered a defect. We do our best to accurately depict the items we make. Please make sure you read the item description carefully. No return will be accepted without prior authorization from Pure. Due to the fact that our personalized pendants are custom made and cannot be re-sold, returns will be subject to a handling and recycling fee. Rush fees and shipping fees are non-refundable.
